What Lies Beyond

Inspired by HP Lovecraft. A small hole appears in a study and starts to grow bigger day by day. by Greg D. LeMieux Published on: 10. January 2010

It all began with a pair of odd sounds. The first, reminiscent of an egg cracking, was followed immediately by the second, which was not unlike the wail of rushing wind through the least crack in a window. Both were so faint that, had I been in the next room, I should not have heard them at all.More...

The Bill of Sale

a short horror story about the unknown and the burden of knowledge, as well as how it can destroy a relationship. In that instant I felt the same way towards him. More...

A Different Kind Of Weekend

Sunday morning. Tom yawned wearily and scratched his crotch freeing mats of hair. Smears of the familiar object of his home past by, as he staggered to the bathroom. Piss streamed down in hot sweet relief. A blob of toothpaste pushed out onto the toothbrush and then he raked it back-and-forth, back-and-forth across fuzzy teeth. More...

'Food for thought.'
The rain hit hard on that dark may night; the summer had arrived but it only lingered now and then, failing to bring the radiant sunshine that had always seemed to be taken for granted. There was a difference in the air that evening, a sense that a storm was brewing, yes in summer - but I knew my instinct was right. I was wandering about the More...

It'll Make Your Skin Crawl

"This is going to sound contrived," Paul Vizzini began as he bit at the heel of his chalky 35-year-old palm. "Like a tall tale, or an urban legend, what my nephews call F.O.A.F. stories, it means friend of a friend. But upon my mother's grave it is the truth."
"Go, on Mr. Vizzini, I doubt it can be that fantastical," Dr. Elizabeth Engels implored from behind him in the darkened nook of the office. More...

Everything came back in flashes. The dog. His father lying on the couch. His arm. His black arm. The black thing that attacked and killed his father, the nurse…his arm…my arm!
Adam opened his eyes. The pale white ceiling above came as a comfort and contrast to his dark, black dreams. Swirling images of people running, screaming, and dying. More...
